Swimming zone and planted regeneration zone in one body of water.
Natural pool with biofilter
A clean-lined pool with a buried biological filter and no visible planted zone.
Conversion
Converting a conventional pool into a natural one.

Engineering & choices
What you do not see, but feel every day.
- Biological filtration
- Bacteria and plants break down nutrients; a pump keeps the water moving.
- Maintenance
- Skim leaves, cut back plants in autumn, check the filter. We help every year.
- Temperature
- The water follows the season. Limited heating is possible with a biofilter.
Usually between €70,000 and €180,000, depending on area, system and landscaping.
A guide price incl. VAT. Your estimate depends on site, access and finishes.

Frequently asked questions
All questionsIs the water really clear?
Yes, with a correctly sized system. A slight green tint in spring is normal and clears by itself.
Will there be insects or frogs?
Some wildlife arrives, as in any garden with water. Circulation and natural predators keep larvae in check.
How much space do I need?
A swimming pond usually needs twice the swimming area. With a biofilter, the pool plus a technical pit is often enough.
